PLAN A BLOCK PARTY!
Kitsilano Block Parties Days are June 15 & 16

The organizers of Kitsilano Block Parties along with Car Free Vancouver offer resources to enable Kitsilano residents to host their own individual and intimate Block Parties to encourage neighbourhoods to connect. Block Parties can be as unique as the people who plan them. Everything goes – from sharing food and drink in the afternoon to hosting an all day celebration which may include children’s games, BBQ’s and garden tours. Some have music and dancing; some have couches, chairs and carpets in the middle of the street! All of them offer a fun, relaxing chance to hang out with the people who live in your neighbourhood.

You and your neighbours decide on what activities you want. The organizers of Kitsilano Block Parties assist in making the rest very simple. Information to get you started on your Block Party planning can be found at www.carfreevancouver.org/kits. Please also reach out to kitsilano@carfreevancouver.org or call/message Lisa at 778-798-5803 for further guidance.

The Car Free Day Kitsilano Block Parties are made possible by Car Free Vancouver Society, City of Vancouver, Block Party Hosts, Volunteers and a Vancouver Foundation Neighbourhood Small Grant administered by Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, as well as the neighbourhood sponsor, West Broadway Business Improvement Association.
